West Delhi is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and sprawls over an area of 129 kilometres. The district is divided into three subdivisions namely Patel Nagar, Rajouri Garden and Punjabi Bagh. The locality has major residential and commercial areas of Delhi like Janakpuri and Tilak Nagar.

Delhi State Industrial Development Corporation (DSIDC) is the agency looking into the industrial growth for the region. The largest centre of industries thrives in the region which includes IT, handloom, fashion, textile, electronics, electrical and engineering, etc. It is expected that major industrial growth and development will be taking place in west Delhi, in the next decade.

Development of 13 community centres and several district centres in West Delhi is under progress. The locality has efficient social and civic infrastructure.

There a number of industrial, commercial and residential properties coming up in the region. Some residential properties include Parsvnath Paramount in Ashok Nagar, CGHS Group Navyug Apartments and DLF Capital Greens in Moti Nagar.
