Shyamnagar is a district town under the North 24 Parganas in West Bengal. It is situated roughly 30 kilometres from Kolkata. Ferry services to the other side of the Hooghly are also available. The Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is around 30 kilometres from here.
