Situated towards the north-west of Pune, Chinchwad consists of twin towns namely Pimpri and Chinchwad. It is a suburb of Pimpri-Chinchwad in the Metropolitan Area and is surrounded by Pune (South), Talegaon Dabhade (West) and Khed (North). The Government has proposed Metro connectivity in the area. The New International Airport is located at a distance of 31.2 kilometers (via Talawade Road).
