Developed by the Pradhikaran-Pimpri Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA), Ravet is an up-coming locality in the north-western part of Pune. It is the first town one encounters after leaving Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Ravet is now known as ‘Gateway to Pune’. It is at the intersection of the old NH-4, Katraj-Dehu Road and Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
It is connected by a 45 meter grade separated, non-signalled four-lane Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) road by JNNURM, which provides access to important areas like Aundh in less than ten minutes. Ravet is also well-connected to the other towns like, Pimpri, Chinchwad, Chakan and Talegaon.
